The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.
SASSA might be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency said it's alarmed with regards to the large amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior amount of clients/beneficiaries sassa status to access SASSA services.
“This is often mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office devoted to service the area daily. The provider stage made for intervention encounters a large inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for your Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more resources to help the servicing of all buyers and enhance access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
